The Second Wave

Newcomers to the 9/11 mystery have two even better teaching tools to help them convince those who still believe their government loves them, and would never do anything to hurt them. And that it’s patently clear that the WTC towers were brought down by controlled demolition.

The first is an ingenious and thorough narrative sculpted together by WING-TV guru Victor Thorn (and his trusty sidekick Lisa Guliani) titled “9/11 on Trial: The World Trade Center Collapse — Guilty.”

It’s written in the form of a trial transcript and takes the reader through the strange, anomalous process of the WTC collapse step-by-step, cleverly and authoritatively weaving witness testimony culled from the works of some of the finest investigators in the 9/11 skeptics movement, including Jim Hoffman, Eric Hufschmid, Jerry Russell & Richard Stanley, Christopher Bollyn, Ralph Omholt, Peter Meyer, Jeff King, Dave MacGowan, Jim Marrs, and David Ray Griffin, among other diligent soldiers in the battle to expose the government’s lies.

I and many other 9/11 observers have been harping for a long time that each of the Twin Towers collapsed in roughly ten seconds, a physically impossible feat for a structure knocked down by pressure from near the top. The simple resistance of thousands of tons of steel and concrete would make such a collapse a long, slow, and incomplete were it possible at all to happen in the way the government said it did, which it was not.

But the Thorn/Giulani book raises even more interesting points, and even more impossible contradictions.

For instance, just prior to the first collapse, the top of the South Tower tipped to 23 degrees, but then it suddenly stopped its angular momentum, changed direction, and fell straight down, just about the time many people reported explosions at the bottom of the tower. The only way the momentum of the falling top could have been changed in mid-collapse was to blast away a portion of EACH of the 47 core columns, causing the building to fall uniformly into its own footprint.

How the Towers fell is impossible according to the official story because the gravitational potential energy of a skyscraper is nowhere near sufficient to destroy its own frame.

If all the joints weren’t heated at the same rate, the building would not fall uniformly.

Thorn’s patient narrative unveils all manner of revealing information to use in further discussions. One is the maximum temperature unprotected steel supports in these fires if 680 degrees; the first critical threshold in structural steel is 1,022 degrees.

I won’t give away too much more of the narrative, but just let me say THIS BOOK is a wonderful syllabus for anyone trying to comprehend the complex ramifications of the 9/11 tower collapses, perhaps the most accessible roundup to date of the single piece of evidence that should leave the American people demanding trials for treason and mass murder for hundreds of its most powerful leaders.

Why were those odd and powerful seismographic spikes recorded moments BEFORE the towers fell? Why were pools of molten steel still bubbling at the bases of the three fallen towers ONE WEEK after 9/11? Is there any doubt that all three buildings were brought down by controlled demolitions? No.

This book, being a deftly weaved digest of the best 9/11 research out there, delivers the goods. It is indispensable to anyone trying to get to the bottom of the greatest crime in American history.

Victor Thorn’s New Book Delves into the Collapse of Twin Towers

What truly caused the collapse of the three buildings of the World Trade Center (WTC) on September 11, 2001? Is the establishment account of these events credible? In his new book, noted author Victor Thorn essentially puts the Bush theory of what happened to these buildings on trial, with simulated witnesses and questioning. And when weighed in the balances, the Bush theory is found to be wanting.

Here’s an example: The establishment media gives short shrift to WTC-7. As a result, most “people in the street” probably would tell you they never heard of the building. Even those of us who know better sometimes refer to “the attack on the twin towers” as if that was all that happened at the WTC. But in many ways, the collapse of a third building, WTC-7, was even more revealing of how preposterous the Bush theory really is. Thorn devotes a chapter to Building 7.

American Free Press readers will remember WTC-7 was not hit by any plane or other missile. Yet it came down in much the same way as the two towers. However, the Bush theory is that the towers came down – pancaked – because jet fuel from the passenger planes that crashed into them made fires so hot the structural steel was melted, or even vaporized in places, leading to an internal and external collapse.

If, for the sake of argument, this were true, it makes the collapse of WTC-7 a major mystery.

The FEMA report, according to Thorn’s “Witness 18,” states that WTC-7 “collapsed completely after burning for approximately seven hours.” However, WTC-7 collapse at 5:20 p.m., and the first report of a fire there was at 3 p.m., which gives the fire only two hours and 20 minutes to do its destructive work, not seven hours.

The fire in the building, like those in the towers, was supposedly so extreme that it caused the steel building to crumble. But all the photos show only a few tiny fires in just a few windows, and only small amounts of smoke being produced. There are some major discrepancies here.

Since the collapse could not possibly be partly explained by aircraft impact, WTC-7 would be the first steel building in history to collapse solely due to fire damage, if the Bush explanation is true. Yet although this is a first in history, the government views the idea that WTC-7 collapsed solely due to fires as if it were nothing unusual.

There are other astonishing facts about WTC-7 covered in the chapter, such as the fact that housed on the 23rd floor of the building was the mayor’s Office of Emergency Management, which monitored the disaster until it received a mysterious order to evacuate the building. To this day, no one has admitted any knowledge of who gave that order.

The building came down in less than seven seconds, which means there was no resistance to the collapse. Thorn argues that would only be possible if pre-planted bombs were triggered off in a controlled sequence to allow freefall of the wreckage.

Amazingly, and suspiciously, in view of the small size of the fires, WTC-7’s rubble pile continued to smolder for months after the collapse.

Other aspects of the World Trade Center hit are covered with equal meticulousness by Thorn, and he wraps it all up with a concluding argument to the jury: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have proof that the government is lying … It’s time we held the bloodthirsty monsters who were behind it accountable for their vile, traitorous deeds.”

 

Attorney Reviews 9-11 on Trial

Trial lawyers quickly learn that the outcome of lawsuits is effected by what evidence the jury is allowed to see. Attorneys aggressively argue about whether certain pieces of evidence can be shown to the jury and whether certain witnesses can take the stand at all. The judge then rules on the admissibility of the evidence, based on such factors as whether the evidence is relevant to the specific lawsuit, whether it would confuse the jury, or whether it is of a confidential or privileged nature.

Until now, crucial pieces of evidence and important witnesses have been kept from the "jury" of the American public in connection with the occurrences of September 11, 2001, without the benefit of analysis by a judge. Such facts have never been ruled inadmissible. Rather, the mainstream media has censored -- or at least failed to discuss -- such information, and so the average American has not yet had the benefit of such information in reaching conclusions about what happened on that fateful day.

9-11 on Trial, by Victor Thorn, is an outstanding effort to get the basic facts about the collapse of three of the World Trade Center buildings on 9-11 to the court of public opinion. Thorn makes a persuasive case that the twin towers and building 7 could not possibly have collapsed due to the impact of hijacked airplanes and fires alone, and that the collapses can only be explained by the use of controlled demolitions, the same kind as many of us have seen on television when an old building is being removed to make way for a new structure.

Critics will correctly point out that Thorn is only presenting "direct examination" of the witnesses which he uses to present his case, and that the government has not had the chance to "cross-examine" such witnesses. However, it is the apologists for the official version of 9-11, and not Thorn, who are trying to suppress relevant evidence.

Thorn is simply presenting evidence that has been withheld from the jury. Defenders of the official myth surrounding 9-11 are welcome to rebut the specifics of the evidence, if they can. But, after the publication of 9-11 on Trial, it is no longer possible to suppress the basic evidence for controlled demolition.

A criminal trial is like a Russian novel: it starts with exasperating slowness as the characters are introduced to a jury, then there are complications in the form of minor witnesses, the protagonist finally appears and contradictions arise to produce drama, and finally as both jury and spectators grow weary and confused the pace quickens, reaching its climax in passionate final argument.

As with any controversy, bring the dispute to court. File an action – present the case – let the jury decide! No need to hold your breath for a federal judge to adjudicative a trial, the real verdict lies within your own judgment. This is the premise for a quick read with a compelling argument in the book 9-11 on Trial by Victor Thorn. But before examining any specifics, ask yourself the essential question: If facts matter and proof can be demonstrated that contradict the official version on the collapse on the World Trade Center, would you accept that reality as truth? Today’s vogue is that if you don’t see it live on TV, it didn’t happen. And we all know that what we saw took place, a fire from an explosion from a 767 airplane and a collapse of two towers. How many will stop at this point and vote – case closed?

Even a cursory review of the table of contents the first impression is that the laws of physics must have played some tricks on that fateful day. That presumption of innocence may hold true on Court TV, but the panel that sits in the public jury box, often brings their own docket agenda to the hearing. Objective open minds are hardly represented in the mainstream press. So why do so many normal citizens refuse to examine the obvious implausibilities? Maybe living a life less ordinary is just too risky . . . especially if it means forgoing the comfort in accepting the government version of this horror! Terrorism is always defined as opposition to the established order.

Asking pointed questions as a citizen ‘Robert H. Jackson’ prosecutor - Victor Thorn - is no Marsha Clark. “Prosecuting Crimes Against the Peace of the World” rings true for New York City. Nuremburg may have been a show trial, but the crime of murder hit the Big Apple as a press juicer squeezing out the last drop of blood from our own fellow Americans. No doubt September 11, 2001 was a day of infamy, just be sure about who originated that attack and how those towers fell. Jet fuel burning its way to the melting point of steel, causing trusses and bolt failures and pulverizing concrete begs the rewriting of all those structural engineering dissertations. But why clutter your mind with relevant questions, you saw the pancake that gravity caused . . . or did it?

You say who in their right mind would believe that a controlled demolition must have occurred to bring down those structures in such rapid succession. Why the mere thought would implicate that those rag tag terrorist cells must have extended well beyond that passenger list. Surely evidence tampering and a cover-up on an unimaginable scale defies common sense! Or does it? Are you brave enough to test the rules of evidence, since the certified court has ruled against their admissibility? Yes I know, who wants to be sequestered while you deliberate such an undertaking . . . those jury impound suites are made of steel beams and who would want to take the risk of having one of them fall down upon your own head!

But the coup de grace has to be that troublesome Building 7, you know the one seldom mentioned and the edifice you are suppose to forget about. “What's the odds that an internal fire weakened all the major support structures in the WTC 7 to make it fall straight down like a controlled demolition?” Since Building 7 is 355 feet away from the North Tower the official FEMA report concludes that this steel-framed structure experienced a fire-induced collapse, after burning unchecked for approximately seven hours. (page 151) In spite of this, CNN and other news agencies have the timeline of events on September 11, having a few small fires on two floors at 3:00 PM, then on fire at 4:10 PM, and at 5:20 PM collapsing.

Since a picture is worth much more than a thousand words, explain away how Building 7 came down so fast. “Building 7 was not hit by any aircraft, and was not significantly damaged by the violent destruction of either of the Twin Towers. Small fires were observed in a few different parts of the building prior to its "collapse." Most of the fires were barely visible, and were not hot enough to cause window breakage, at least on the north side of the tower, of which there are photos shortly before the collapse. The largest observed fires were the ones visible on the southeast wall shown in the photograph.”

Still standing after 17 hour fire

Contrast this disaster with the recent Madrid skyscraper fire, and draw your own conclusion. “Both Madrid and the WTC fires are reported to have burned at around 800degC - steel melts at around 1500degC. The WTC towers (110 stories) were needing to be immensely stronger than the Madrid tower (approx 35 stories), yet both WTC towers collapsed in about one hour, completely, in a uniform and controlled way, straight down, in free-fall time (approx 10 secs) - ie: no resistance, regardless of no fires on any lower floors, and of the immense central column of re-inforced concrete and steel, and of the outer structural skeletal wall of hundreds of steel support beams. IF --- IF any steel did melt, then it would have caused an asymmetrical localized failure within one or two floors - which could not have resulted in the whole structure coming down. These, and the WTC building 7 were controlled demolitions folks. The Madrid tower did not collapse even after 17 hours.”

Could this be a Perry Mason moment? In his closing arguments, Mr. Thorn asserts: “ . . . with a substantial amount of evidence – as opposed to theory – it was physically impossible for the World Trade Center towers to collapse the way the government said it did. Why? Because their version of events blatantly violates the laws of science, the laws of physics, the laws of gravity, and the laws of nature.” Hamilton Burger that perennial inept prosecutor never could get to the truth. Well, this hearing is won by the peoples’ victor.

Read 9-11 on Trial with an inquisitive seriousness and be honest with your own inner voice of scruples. The central justification for the War of Terror against our own way of life is based upon the ultimate excuse of a planned catastrophe that defies logic and rational scrutiny. If it is wholly outside your capacity to conceive that the black and white version of this program is but a Nielsen ratings sweep week production, then you can turn off that tube. You have already been sufficiently programmed. 911 has taken on the persona of the OJ trial. Think for yourself, you are the jury, so judge the evidence. Dismiss all the Geraldo Rivera’s mouthpiece filters and face the proof that the events were not what they seemed to be. The final argument is not an emotional appeal, it is about the validity of the evidence.

From this opening paragraph Victor Thorn launches a balanced and well sourced presentation in court transcript style. His writing presents ‘witnesses’ and questioning, with all answers readily provided by the work of numerous, credible researchers.

The examinations and testimony continue until not only the preponderance of evidence is clear, but it is beyond a reasonable doubt that the government’s version of the collapse of World Trade Center buildings One, Two, and Seven could not have happened as the government has testified.

Ladies and gentlemen, “beyond a reasonable doubt” is the well established legal standard for the determination of guilt in a criminal proceeding. It is much more rigorous than a mere “preponderance of evidence,” which is the standard in a civil litigation. Beyond a reasonable doubt ... that is what Victor Thorn has proven.

Well written and assembled in a nice 175 page, easily readable format, 9-11 On Trial should be read and shared with everyone who claims to be an American, or for that matter, everyone, American or not, who believes in a system of law and free and open governance.

All America shuddered when the World Trade Centers came down. Many of us didn't accept the "official" explanation of the whole mess, and I, as usual, believe little of what the government tells us, whether it be the various statistics about inflation, employment, or what have you. I watched in horror as they crumbled, and remembered when a WW II B-17 crashed into the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building didn't come down, and it caused little damage other than the area where it hit, plus severing an elevator's cables.

So why did the WTC come down? I never thought it was a pretty building. It isn't just the WTC's coming down, but the Pentagon crash. That one's far more simple. No large passenger plane ever went into the Pentagon. There's no wreckage! The hole in the wall fits a missile, not a plane. But the WTC? Did the fires weaken that strong, ugly structure? If so, why did the fires go virtually out within a few minutes? Why are there photos of people standing at the gash where the plane went in if the fires were so hot? The so-called "pancake effect?" That one had me for a brief period, but it never really satisfied me either.

Then a client of mine sent me a book which I devoured over the weekend. It's not long - only about 170 paperback pages; and it doesn't even have any photos. But the information in it will enlighten anyone who reads it. Entitled 9/11 on Trial: The World Trade Center Collapse, you can get it by going to www.wingtv.net. Plus, it costs less than $10 including postage. I defy anyone to disprove its contents. The book doesn't say who did it. But it does tell how it happened, and that's what no news media has ever had the nerve to say, even though logically it couldn't possibly have happened as the government and media stooges say it happened. The book will blow a million holes in the common opinions about the WTC collapse. Everyone needs to read this book! For God's sake people, are you going to allow the most hideous event in modern American history go unexplained? Are you really going to go through your life accepting the shallow, stupid explanations of this supposedly fierce fire bringing down those mighty buildings? No fire in history has ever brought down a steel-framed building. Never. You need this book! Know what the temperature of burning jet fuel is? This book is a must read. Thanks "M" for sending it to me. Had you not, I might have always been leery, but now, there is no longer any doubt about those collapses. Get it; unless, of course, you are completely satisfied with the government statistics, Iraq, the War on Terror, etc.

Two thumbs up and a gavel down! This book is an excellent example of how easy it is to prove 911 was an inside job. When I first received the book, I was surprised that it had no pictures and yet provided an abundance of evidence so overwhelming that it constitutes proof of government complicity on 911.

The scope of the book deals exclusively with the World Trade Center collapse. There is no mention of the Pentagon, of Flight 93 over Shanksville, hijackers, pods or missiles, or anything else out of the huge mountain of evidence we have elsewhere of government complicity on 911. And in only 166 pages, Thorn has proven, scientifically, that the World Trade Centers did not collapse because of fire, and that the official story is a lie, (and not even a good one at that).

One of the things I like best about the book is: he demonstrates how easy it is to prove the official story to be a lie. And that’s not to belittle the book, because it is rich in science, physics, laws of motion, and hardcore scientific analysis. This book shows that one can take almost any individual aspect of 911, isolate it, and show beyond any reasonable doubt the U.S. Government’s complicity and planning of 911.

Every time I read a good book, there are always several things which stand out afterwards which I remember vividly. One of those was the description and analysis of the fall of the South World Trade Center tower - the first to fall. The building was actually decapitated, and the top started to tip over as though it would continue to fall and land well outside of the building’s own footprint. Then all of a sudden, after the building’s top had tilted to a steep angle of 23 degrees, its momentum was stopped, and it then began to cave in on itself and then telescope into itself, lose momentum, and then literally drop straight down as though the bottom part of the building did not exist any longer. He provided in this single description and analysis enough to show the government story to be a lie. Each and every consecutive witness and chapter does the same thing.

The other thing that really stood out to me was the collapse of the World Trade Centers and the amount of time it took for them to fall to the earth. The buildings didn’t merely collapse, nor did they pancake - floor by floor - all the way down. Each building’s top did a 450 yard dash, or 1360 feet, in less than 11 seconds!

And it isn’t really even accurate to describe the collapses as controlled demolitions. The more accurate way to describe their collapse would be to call them ‘Controlled Disintegrations.’

Each building literally disintegrated as it was pulled to earth, defying the engineering of the structure, the laws of physics, and as Victor eloquently pointed out, the laws of man. This book has helped rewrite the false history and official story of 911, and hopefully will be read by everyone! Had I nothing else to rely on as proof of government engineering and planning of 911 than this book, it would be enough to convict. And remember, what’s on trial in the book is the government’s official story. And by the end of the book, it crumbles, much like the World Trade Centers did. Very quickly ...

And at 7 bucks a copy, it should spread rather quickly! I hope everyone takes the time to make sure that copies of this book end up on local library shelves, dentist offices, etc, as it is and will become an extremely effective tool in our collective pursuit of Truth and Justice for the World crime of 911. 9-11 On Trial: Fact or Fiction?

It has been more than three years since the September 11th tragedy. And now, after ground zero has long been excavated and Congress has published its report, a new, shocking story has come out of the woodwork.

Victor Thorn’s 9-11 on Trial: The World Trade Center Collapse dismantles the government’s story, exposing the WTC towers collapse as a direct result of a controlled demolition from inside the towers.

Initially, this sounds like the words of a paranoid newspaper-clipping conspiracy theorist, but Victor Thorn’s approach shows his argument is far from a hoax. Scientific and mathematical evidence, expert testimony and on-site witnesses all point toward his case. 9-11 on Trial declares the government explanation of the collapse must be a lie.

The book is written similar to a trial transcript. Thorn acts as prosecutor against the government with his readers as the jury. Beginning with an opening statement, he asks us all, “Do you think we as American citizens deserve to know the 100% absolute truth of what took place that day?” Few can argue against this.

The strength of Thorn’s analysis lies in the dialogue throughout the book. The prosecutor questions his witnesses, first covering the “official” government story, and then breaking down its inconsistencies. From the planes’ impact, through the burning jet fuel, and all the way to the fall of the last tower, Thorn systematically dissects every angle of the collapse.

Looking at the chemistry of jet fuel combustion and steel beam strength, the prosecution suggests the temperature emitted by the burning jet fuel would not even come close to that needed to weaken the WTC tower’s steel frames.

Further, a question arises: if the beams did weaken, forcing the towers to “pancake” on top of each other, then why at the first moment of collapse did the buildings appear to explode?

The case’s strength is best seen in its analysis of The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s account.

While FEMA claims it took seven hours for WTC 7 to collapse, the prosecution proves the building caught fire around 3 p.m. and fell at 5:20 p.m. Not only that, but the fires were physically not strong enough to begin to weaken steel in the way the report declared.

The government account appears to play highly on ignorance and little on reality.

Thorn explains that no other steel buildings in history have fallen due to fire. Even more amazing, the government version of the collapse would disprove hundreds of years of science.

Thorn asks us if the truth matters. Can we look back on the horror and destruction of September 11th and settle for just any explanation? We deserve the truth and the right to a voice. And in a perfect democracy we would have this.

I've read Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani's book 9-11 On Trial for the second time through last night, and I consider this one of THE best books that lays out the facts proving the three WTC towers [1, 2 and 7] collapsed by controlled demolition vs. the farcical explanation we've been offered by the DOJ and the Bush Administration.

This is nearly the equivalent of General Benton K. Partin's Bomb Damage Analysis Report, which offers irrefutable information proving the DOJ's explanation of the people, events, and ordnance devices causing the horrendous damage to the A.P. Murrah Building in the Oklahoma City Bombing was indeed a patent lie.

I urge you to promote 9-11 On Trial far and wide. It's easy to read, yet offers an incredible amount of information that DOES NOT insult our intelligence. Rather, it asks us to use our intelligence responsibly to realize that we've been lied to about the mass murder of over 3,000 people; 1,000 of whom could NOT be identified because their remains were completely vaporized by the interior ordnance planted inside all three WTC towers well in advance of the alleged plane attacks on the morning of 9/11/01.

And for those of you that may have forgotten; WTC 7 was not - I repeat - WAS NOT hit by a passenger jet. Nevertheless, it fell into its own foundation footprint just like WTC Towers 1 and 2.

9-11 On Trial: A Closer Look

With 9/11, there is a massive amount of information available that is in direct conflict with the official version of the story. It is best taken one piece at a time, and Victor Thorn has managed to put the pieces together in a brilliant manner. 9-11 on Trial is a book that focuses on the WTC collapse. It is an encyclopedia of information from 40 independent researchers.

While the information presented isn’t necessarily ground-breaking, the format of the presentation is. Thorn is the very first person that I know of that has actually compiled the information that is scattered all over the Internet and real life into one helpful resource. In other words, Thorn lays it out: the twin towers were over-engineered, so jet fuel could not have brought these two structures down. If jet fuel had indeed fatigued the steel, then the upper portions should have bent over, snapped off, and fallen on nearby structures, causing even more damage (keep in mind that wind gets more intense at higher altitudes). Instead, the structures crumble and disintegrate into dust, causing negative environmental impact all over the place.

Even if 10,000 gallons of jet fuel were injected in one floor, it still wouldn’t be enough to melt the steel. Also, the black smoke does indicate an oxygen starved fire.

Another troubling aspect of the official story is countered with questioning of the curious collapse of building # 7. It was not in the debris field, yet it collapsed (and Larry Silverstein even admitted that the building was “pulled”).

It even mentions the New York City firefighters describing the collapse of the towers as if it were internally demolished.

For anyone who wishes to refute the official story point by point, this book is definitely a handy resource to have, and I would highly recommend it.

The accused stands condemned; the towers should never have fallen

Author Victor Thorn (9-11 On Trial) has a problem. Apparently many other Americans and thinking humans have this same problem. I’ve got it too now. More and more people are waking up with this problem, or to this problem, each day. It’s all about physics, history and politics; and it boils down to this: Why is the US government so reluctant about having an open and impartial investigation into the events of September Eleven, 2001?

It’s a fair question and one I hadn’t considered until recent months. I work as an editor of a small Australian magazine called TWOT, and I found myself drawn to online documentaries about the world around us. I have a degree in English and another in media/culture and like to keep my research skills sharp. I also like to believe I’m better informed than the average person dependent on mainstream media for his/her view of the world.

The invasion of Iraq was a very upsetting event for me. I was studying the role of media at university at the time. Noam Chomsky and other reliable sources had said that the entire Western media and political elite were lying in unison about Saddam’s so-called weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The debate on that issue is now silent; even the Pentagon has given up on ever finding any.

Another lie at the heart of this illegal invasion (declared as such by the ‘irrelevant’ Secretary of the United Nations, Kofi Anan) was that Saddam/Iraq was somehow implicated in the tragedy of September 11 via unspecified links to Al Qaeda - an omnipresent group of terrorists headed by that man westerners love to hate …Osama bin Laden (OBL) Boooo. Hissss! This ultimate boogeyman was, according to official wisdom and rhetoric, responsible for the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on 9/11.

In fact, then secretary-of-state Condaleeza Rice went on record within a fortnight of the attacks, saying, “We have proof Osama bin Laden was behind the (attacks) and will bring forth the evidence in due time” (paraphrase). Strangely, that proof never emerged, despite al Qaeda supposedly offering to hand over OBL if the USA showed them the proof they had. Not much emerged at all, but 9/11 was used as a pretext for war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The link between Saddam and OBL was highly unlikely according to many reports, but sufficient political support paved the way for a Nazi-style blitzkrieg neoconservatives proudly called ‘shock and awe’. I believe this was because market research showed ‘let’s bomb babies’ was a non-winner.

In the physical sense, Thorn’s easy-to-read book interrogates why and how the three (yes, that’s right three) World Trade Center skyscrapers collapsed on that day. Try to think back to your memories of that terrible day and the massive media overload that accompanied its events. Well, the media overkill about an ensuing ‘war on terror’ has been relentless since. But apart from a couple of pseudo-documentaries, little of interest had come to my attention about the events of that day.

Still less had anything led me to believe that it was anything other than Muslims, full of righteous anger/revenge, responsible for the day’s carnage. Given America’s foreign policy, I reasoned, anything is possible; and left it at that. That was until my favorite alternative news site, Information Clearing House, provided a link to a documentary called 9/11 In Plane Sight. The pun on plane/plain appealed to my poetic bent, so I played it, not expecting anything.

On screen was an American, the producer of the documentary, Dave vonKleist. He began to show footage from that day in September, 2001. But he asked questions I hadn’t thought of, such as, “Where are all the pictures/video footage of the plane hitting the Pentagon?” Because of all the concentration on the destruction of the towers; I, like many people, just assumed the Pentagon incident happened as reported, but with fewer images to consume. But why should that be? Surely the Pentagon would have a myriad of cameras all over the place.

Anyway, vonKleist goes further by saying, "Here’s some footage and pictures that prove it couldn’t have been a 757 that hit the Pentagon; the hole’s too small and there’s no wreckage." That gave me plenty to think about, and then he presented other evidence bringing into question the collapse of the Twin Towers of the WTC. Also, he had a recording of the WTC’s owner, Larry Silverstein, saying how he (along with the fire dept) had made the decision to ‘pull’ building 7 of the World Trade Centre. Apparently this a building term referring to controlled demolition; i.e. building 7 was brought down with explosives.

That 47-story building collapsed exactly like the Twin Towers, yet had no plane crash into it and contained only a ‘a couple of small office fires’. Alarm bells were ringing in my head and I couldn’t rest without writing to Dave vanKleist and tell him I’d like to review the documentary for the third issue of TWOT magazine. A night or two later, while playing pool with my brother in suburban Bunbury, Western Australia, I received a call from him (vonKleist) in America. We spoke animatedly for a good while and made some loose arrangements about gift copies to TWOT readers as a promotion.

As time progressed I followed up this new area of interest and, much to my amazement, found there are entire movements within the USA dedicated to opening up the truth behind 9/11. Many have their own websites, and one day I happened to find WING TV. Hosted by Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani, I was impressed with their passion for that ever-elusive commodity, ‘the truth’. Although it nourished a little too much patriotism, I was familiar with many of their ‘conspiracy’ links. And, although not convinced about some conspiracy theories, I was rapidly coming to the conclusion that the official version of 9/11 was, to invoke Michael Moore’s wonderful Oscar speech, ‘fictitious’.

Victor, in his wisdom, has decided to leave out all extraneous arguments in his small, but powerfully confronting book - 9/11 On Trial. Rather than getting mired in the myriad of controversial questions arising from the scandalous massacre, he zeroes in on one aspect of Ground Zero - how those buildings came down so damn perfectly. One clue to the possible cause can be found in the name of the company hired as clean-up crew for ground zero. Its name was Controlled Demolitions, Inc. They were given the task of removing the evidence, i.e. steel, etc, from the crime scene. Can there be any doubt this was a crime? I mean, I know Bush declared war on anyone with an oily backyard immediately afterwards, but he can’t be the guy in control. Sheesh. He speaks Manglish rather than English and requires a battery pack to manage a debate. He is demonstrably too feeble-minded to be someone in charge.

Many/most people seemed to overlook the possibility of controlled demolition. It seems, in retrospect, it was (and is) much easier to believe that an invisible, overseas enemy was responsible for the heinous acts than your own Big Brother. Mainstream media acted as a conduit for government propaganda and has been largely responsible for the perpetuation of what I would now call the ‘Hijacker Myth’ because 9-11 On Trial proves (to me) that it was impossible that planes were even remotely responsible for the collapse of the towers.

Neither the impact of the aircraft hitting the towers, nor the resultant (aviation fuel-based) fires were anywhere near sufficiently intense to make two 110-story building collapse in a perfect ‘freefall’ footprint. Despite appearances (and memory can play its own tricks) the fire was nowhere near hot enough to bring down either building. Despite silly claims that the fires (on the impacted floors) were hot enough to melt steel, photographic evidence shows a woman standing at the window on the same floor as one of these fires that were supposedly so hot that ‘nothing could survive’. Apart from the fact that aviation fuel has a relatively cool burning temperature, the fires were actually suffocating and on their way out, as evidenced by the thick plumes of black smoke. Such plumes, apparently, signify a fire is on ‘its last legs’, so to speak. Besides, no steel-structured buildings had been leveled to the ground by fire - ever - before that day; nor any since. And this includes buildings subjected to fire far hotter than the WTC fires; ones that burned for days like the one in Madrid in 2005.

Similarly, a bomber flew into the Empire State Building in 1943. It didn’t fall-at all. It sustained what is called localized damage. That is, the part where the plane hit was damaged, but the rest of the structure was fine. Just as you would hit a nail into a piece of wood and not expect it to explode, neither would those buildings when a plane hit it. Someone else has compared the damage to a ‘pencil through a mosquito net’: sure you get a bigger hole than you want, but the pencil doesn’t vaporize the mosquito net (and its contents). That, I’m afraid, is only possible via animation. Only two forces are known to react powerfully enough to make material fly outwards so fast, and create so much dust-volcanoes and explosions. No volcanic eruptions were recorded that day, but seismic peaks were evident just prior to the collapse of each building.

The World Society of Engineers said, ‘They just don’t make them as tough as the Twin Towers any more.’ These were not flimsy buildings! Remember that this was the scene of the worst single attack on American soil and the reason most of the world is in a state of confused terror to this day. I think the world is owed answers. In the absence of any government will to conduct a similar investigation it is laudable and, indeed, essential that people like Victor Thorn conduct their own research and publish their findings.

If, at the end of his book, you still believe fires or (plane) impact brought down the Twin Towers, then all the evidence in the world will not convince you of anything … unless it comes from the ‘right people’. The fact that it is a distinct possibility that 9-11 was an ‘inside job’ designed to mobilise American people into an amorphous ‘war on terror’ is more terrifying than the terror itself. The information contained in 9-11 On Trial can make an enormous difference to the way people understand 21st century humanity: the world is already ruled over by a sociopathic class powerful enough to make thousands of tonnes of concrete, computers, body parts and other materials into powder to sprinkle on a city; and not just any city; New York City.

Hey America, isn’t it time to wake up! Only when America becomes politically aware and active can the rest of the globe have peace. For, like it or not, it is the American military machine/budget/system that sets the agenda for all things great and small on this planet. If all the billions of dollars wasted on escalating ‘defense’ (read attack) contracts were put into meaningful scientific research and goodwill projects, I have a feeling Planet Earth could, one day, become a nice place to live. Currently, due to the powers that be, it is not.

9-11 On Trial Review

I was drawn to these books through an ad in American Free Press and, at a special price of $20 for the two volumes, promptly ordered them. I have long believed the official (ZOG) version of the events to be an outrageous lie, and have expressed my opinion that Israel’s notorious Mossad played a major part in this horrendous conspiracy. Thorn calls his earlier book a “chapbook” because of its abbreviated length, but I found it actually to be the more useful of the two. The longer “9-11 on Trial” is literally that; it deals entirely with the physical aspects of the collapse of the towers by calling upon “witnesses,” all of whom are mainstream sources.

Victor Thorn, whom I was unfamiliar with before reading these two books, is a young political activist for populist, anti-globalist, anti-Zionist causes and runs the internet World Independent News Group (www.wingtv.net) site. In addition to writing books and investigating ZOG conspiracies such as 9-11 and the OKC bombing, he owns his own publishing company, Sisyphus Press, and has an internet TV talk show which is very professional looking. He appears on screen with his girlfriend Lisa Guiliani, who apparently is also his primary research assistant. The two of them have a good on-air chemistry between them; I found it refreshing that unlike so many mainstream TV talk shows, they did not constantly talk over each other, yet they appeared to be natural and unscripted. Other WNs wishing to do White media would do well to study Thorn’s efforts.

In his “Opening Statement” in 9-11 on Trial, Thorn asks the following rhetorical question:

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, what if you discovered that it was impossible for the World Trade Center towers to have collapsed the way the government said they did, and that there was zero-percent chance that their “official” version of events was true? How would this news affect your view of what happened that day, and particularly your elected “leaders” who supposedly have your best interests in mind?

And indeed the cumulative weight of the evidence he presents – all from respectable “mainstream” authorities – is overwhelming. First, there has never in history been an incident where a fire caused any high rise building to collapse, so it would appear very strange that three buildings were alleged to do exactly that on September 11, 2001. The “testimony” in both books make it clear, even to the non-scientist, that a fire from jet fuel (most of which burned up outside the buildings upon impact) is not nearly hot enough to melt the steel columns which formed the core of the WTC buildings. Of course, it’s always been obvious to me that the towers collapsed from a controlled demolition, and seismic data confirms underground explosions immediately preceding the collapse of each.

It is also obvious that there was never a thorough investigation of the site before the rubble was quickly removed, further evidence of a cover-up by authorities. Also alluded to was the strange circumstance that the four planes allegedly involved in 9-11 crashes were flying at only about ¼ capacity, very odd when you consider that most transcontinental flights are routinely overbooked. Yes, there are many such oddities that point to an Israeli false flag operation with the foreknowledge and/or direction of government officials at the highest level.

Thorn’s books cover only the attacks on the WTC and do not speculate about the Pentagon crash. From what I have read, I think the case is perhaps not as strong against the official version of events there, but there are still many unanswered questions about the DC crash. Perhaps Thorn could turn his considerable talents to investigating what really happened that day in Arlington, Virginia.

In closing Thorn speculates as to who the perpetrators of this massive conspiracy were. He asks, “who benefits?” and names four groups who have profited from the “war on terrorism” and the subsequent wars in the Mideast. He names 1) International bankers (from the huge debt created by these wars); 2) The State of Israel (for obvious reasons); 3) Think tanks (who plot war strategies); and 4) Defense contractors (many with shadowy ties to the Bushes and Bush Administration neocons). In other words he is saying what has now become a cliché, “follow the money.”

I would highly recommend these books, particularly the shorter one. I don’t see how anyone can read its very readable 48 pages and not come away convinced that the “official” 9-11 report is just a pack of jewish lies.
