REVIEW - John Tiffany - The American Free Press - March 29, 2004 The New World Order Illusion, the second volume in a trilogy on the NWO, is a goldmine of information compiled from articles written by Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani that have appeared in the now-defunct Babel Magazine and on the daily, online television news show at wingtv.net. By now you have probably read The New World Order Exposed, the first in the series. Although this is a review of the second volume only, the reviewer also took a look at the first volume, which he had not previously read, and found it to be a “must read” book. Illusion takes off from the original volume with 24 essays that are all thought provoking and controversial. For example, Chapter Two is on the empire we used to call “Red China,” better known today simply as “China.” As Thorn points out, the days of slavery are still with us in the 21st century – on the other side of the world where mainland China peasants work for 61 cents an hour minus about 25 percent for taxes, and that’s if they are lucky enough not to be political prisoners who must work for nothing. Thanks to globalization, American jobs are being relocated to China and other places in Asia and Africa, leaving Americans without employment. Another Thorn essay punctures the balloon on those who think that if we just impeach President Bush, and maybe Veep Cheney, or if we elect a Democratic team, everything will be hunky-dory. It makes no difference who is president, says Thorn, as long as the gray eminences continue to pull the strings of these puppets. Besides, at this point in time, it appears voters may be faced in November with a choice between Bush or John Kerry. And as Thorn notes, both Kerry and Bush are members of the Skull and Bones secret society. Of course, you could vote for a “third party” candidate. As for the horrible events of September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent Americans and foreigners lost their lives in those attacks; and then our servicemen were shipped off to kill and die in Afghanistan and the Middle East. It is time to do something about it, say the authors. Another chapter/essay exposes the “con” in the “neo-cons,” the so-called neo-conservatives who are nothing but followers of Trotsky and Leo Strauss disguised as conservatives, who have hijacked the Republican Party. It is not at the White House but in neo-con think tanks that America’s foreign policy is decided and designed: the Project for a New American Century, the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, American Enterprise Institute and their ilk. These are the organizations whose members are behind the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Over 3 and one-half years before the 9-11 attacks, they were pushing for an invasion of Iraq; then, days after the attacks, these same men sent nearly identical letters to Bush, urging him to invade and occupy Iraq. Illusion gives the reader a chance to peer behind the veil and see what the establishment news media are not telling us, including the real reason our troops are in Iraq, who controls the mass media, how the neo-cons front for the New World Order elitists, and more. Admittedly the author had to question a few details in the book, including a claim that a flight manual found by authorities and connected to the September 11 “airline hijackers” was written in the Aramaic language; it was actually in Arabic. [Note: this statement actually appeared in The New World Order Exposed – ed.] However, overall, the volume is a stirring, indeed powerful, treatment of the mess America is in today and packed with plenty of mind-boggling information.
