Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani are two of the most dedicated and hard-driving independent journalists in the "alternative" media - the real honest media - today. I continuously rely on Thorn and Guliani and Wingtv.net for news, information and commentary on important issues and events. You simply cannot find two more dedicated
patriots in America today. They don't play favorites and they don't bow to icons. If I hear that the controlled media in America is censoring the work of Victor and Lisa, I'm not
surprised. I expect that to happen. It's happened to me time and time again. But when I hear that others in what we call the alternative media, the media for the patriot
movement, are guilty of censoring Victor and Lisa and WING TV, then I have to ask the simple question: "Why?"
This kind of censorship looks all the more suspicious when it is selective and quite particular as it has been in the documented cases where Victor and Lisa have been
censored and their work suppressed.
It kind of reminds me of the time that the Washington Post deleted a single passing reference to the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith when it reprinted, in a later
edition, a very lengthy piece about Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma bombing. The item regarding the ADL that the Post deleted was a printed reference which provided
proof-positive evidence that the ADL had been closely monitoring McVeigh for over a year prior to the bombing. This was the only line in an otherwise extensive story that
was deleted in the later editions. The Washington Post had initially eagerly quoted the ADL as a source on McVeigh, but when the ADL itself realized that they had
inadvertently released a bit of information which exposed their apparent close relationship to McVeigh or to someone close to McVeigh, the ADL obviously contacted the
Post and the second version of the story was censored - just that single line.
So, as I say, when I see people going to the trouble of censoring or deleting just a single line from another person's story - particularly references to the work of two of
America's best journalists - I ask "Why?"

I must admit, I was dismayed by your piece on censorship. I was saddened by your article, even disappointed by it … however, I was not surprised. This is a shining and blatant example of the pervasive problem in the “alternative media.” You see, some do not want to be “alternative” and therefore relegated to the fringe of mainstream, slumbering American society. As a result, too often we see our supposed heroes clamoring for what is automatically gifted to those simply present in the major media: credibility.
Credibility is easy to have … simply sell out. Be censored yourself, be subjected to editing and final approval from numerous departments from corporate suits who take orders from people you’ll never meet, from places you’ll never visit. Put the truth last and fame and fortune first and you have it! Why do we continue to scramble around for the scraps left over from the limiting parameters of our commercial colleagues and their operations? Why would we choose to play by rules that they are forced to abide by? How could we sell our soul for the exclusivity of a scoop? We hear quite frequently bandied about that we all should just “get along,” but that would imply that we are all playing on the same team for the same goal. Obviously, we are not.
I would rather have my integrity and be able to rest my head at night feeling good about what I was able to do and hopeful about what I had attempted. I don’t need validation from society, and nor do I need to sensationalize the truth, spread fear amongst my audience, or condescend to them about what they should or should not be exposed to in our forum.
I only hope that the audience in the alternative realm can see for themselves the differences in the approach. The truth is vital and therefore should be free … always freely expressed and absolutely at no charge.

Regarding the Jones/Rense censorship of WING TV, I offer the following comments:
When I disagree with the writings and work of a person or organization, how do I deal with it?
I publish the completed work of the disputed individual, and insert or assert my opinions and commentaries of my own, thus opening up the possibility (and hopefully) likelihood of an argumentative dialogue. Myself and others have found that methodology is the most efficient and factual way to resolve an issue, through consenting and meritorious dialogue. To amend or append one's decision, conclusions or thoughts through such a method is often a worthy and very constructive process. At the least is thought provoking and educational.
However, to selectively eliminate commentary from relevant entities (such as WING TV in this instance) is beyond questionable.
That the loud-mouthed and arrogant ("if I want your opinion I'll give it to you" Alex Jones) does not surprise me at all. I know many guests that hold that opinion, and neither you nor I can dispute that fact, IF we desire to. Alex's long established ideology is to shout a person down, talk over them, etc., etc.. Perhaps it is the only way he can establish his own opinions to his radio audience.
But in reviewing the long history of Jeff Rense, once a well respected (and still is by many) and very outspoken proponent of truth, to bend and rend this type of agenda, decries to me that some leverage has been used against him and he has bowed to that leverage. It is very disappointing, and I pray that Jeff Rense will repent from that weakness.
If an article is to be reproduced, then notes NEED to be made and established that IF, IF censorship was invoked, then the author MUST place a link (URL) as to what was censored, and make the censored material available to the public. It is a bit cowardly and disingenuous, but somewhat honest.
To me it seems a lot less complicated and frankly much more honest to simply print the entire work, and then insert one's points of disagreement, noting the points. But then, IF and WHEN one's arguments are weak, can one expect anything other than censorship, especially if it might affects ones pocketbook?
I fear the Jerry Maguire'ism here is "show me the money." What a shame. And yet, how revealing.

After having listened to several "WING TV"
broadcasts, including Monday night's, it is becoming quite
apparent that we have hypocrites in the alternative media. If we
allow what Alex Jones and Jeff Rense are doing to stand, purely on
merit alone, then it must be OK to edit any video, audio recording or
article you don't like. To hell with getting permission from the
author; why, that would be inconvenient. That being the case, Jeff
and Alex have no right to complain if somebody edits their work
without their permission. At one time, we used to listen to Alex
Jones, but, with all the censoring, you have to question the accuracy
of anything on the broadcast. As far as our response to the audio
clip of Alex at the end of the Monday Night, (04-10-06,) "WING TV"
broadcast, it almost seems that he is afraid of something being
revealed. None of the callers were hateful to Alex when they called
in regarding the research on the "WING TV" website, yet he was so
quick to get rid of them. Think he is afraid of somebody revealing
the story of the Grays on his broadcast, or even something more
sinister?
Alex, we used to listen to your broadcast, but now you have sunk into
the same category as the mainstream media. Bottom line: we all read
articles and listen to broadcasts from time to time where we don't
agree with all the content. But cutting out bits and pieces of different
broadcasts or articles is not appropriate just because you don't like
somebody or something somebody said.
Get a grip on it, stand up and face the music, and also remember, Alex,
it's not just your road to kick people off of. If it weren't for your
listeners, you wouldn't be on the road.

Let Jones and Rense Challenge WING TV on the Facts
This latest round of censorship perpetrated by Jeff Rense and Alex Jones involving the removal of references to Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani from another person's article published on their websites is nothing new. It's part of a continuing pattern of irrational behavior directed toward these two outstanding researchers and journalists, an unreasonable attitude held by both Alex Jones and Jeff Rense toward them that I've never been quite able to fathom.
But aside from this unreasonableness and irrationality directed toward these two particular researchers, the idea that Rense and Jones would clandestinely alter and censor content from other people's articles published on their website without obtaining the authors' permission or consulting with the author before making the changes is most troubling indeed. It certainly fits the classic definition of censorship.
I spoke out against this sort of thing myself in a number of articles I wrote last year. I specifically criticized Alex Jones for refusing to discuss the important 9-11 book by Victor Thorn, 9-11 on Trial, on his program, a book that he himself had actually praised in a call to another radio talk show. I also criticized Jeff Rense for publishing anonymous articles on his website containing preposterous and unfounded assertions that Thorn and Guliani are government agents. I know these two individuals personally, and I know for a fact that this is a lie! This is something that I would stake my life on!
What was especially troubling about these libelous, cowardly, anonymous, hit-piece articles published by Jeff Rense was that Rense steadfastly refused to post any sort of rebuttal. This, to me, also reeked of blatant censorship.
This is what I have to say to Alex Jones and Jeff Rense now. It's the very same thing that Charlie Sheen said recently on the Alex Jones Show to his own irrational critics, those who attack him personally but who are unable to challenge him based on the facts. If Alex Jones and Jeff Rense have a problem with Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani, let them explain to us exactly how their ideas and facts are wrong. Let Alex Jones tell us exactly what it is in Victor Thorn's book, 9-11 on Trial, that he thinks is wrong and that he disagrees with. Let Alex Jones and Jeff Rense challenge Victor Thorn and Lisa Guliani on the facts of 9-11 - if they can - and not resort to such childish and cowardly tactics as expunging their names from articles that other people have written.
I don't think Alex Jones and Jeff Rense can challenge these two journalists and researchers fairly - on the facts of 9-11 - any more than Charlie Sheen's irrational critics can challenge him on the basic facts of this issue.
So I'm now calling on ALL of them - including Alex Jones and Jeff Rense - to do just that! I want to see Charlie Sheen, Victor Thorn, and Lisa Guliani challenged fairly on the facts of 9-11, and not subjected to such childish, abusive assaults as personal attacks and outright censorship.

Don and I consider you two fellow 911 truth activists and really appreciate Victor's excellent book, 911 on Trial, which we have listed in our books of recommended reading on page 30 of our 2006 edition of The Report of the Citizens Commission on 911. Lisa's 17 points/questions are important points that many other 911 truth activists have also raised. Although we do not know Doug Herman personally, we are interested more in the follow-up to the removal of references to Lisa Guliani from Herman's original article by Rense, and then the additional removal of references to Victor Thorn by Alex Jones. Since both Alex Jones and Jeff Rense utilize the services of a webservant, there is a possibility in our minds that this alleged censorship by Alex Jones and Jeff Rense could have been done without their knowledge by their webservants. If there is some follow-up to these alterations of Herman's original article, we would be interested in finding out the chain of events that occurred regarding the decision(s) to alter his article by removing references to your work.
Yes, we do agree that general protocol in altering an already posted article would be to consult with the author before doing so AND give a clear reason why the article was being altered.

Alex Jones and Jeff Rense do not censor my writing. In fact, I don't even submit my writing to them or anybody else, they take it from my blog. On the other hand, there are people out there using my wife's name to write slanderous articles about me, using IndyMedia's open publishing. I find this far more offensive than somebody removing a few sentences from an article. A Google search now returns slander and ad hominem attacks against me. I get death threats and this concerns me more than censorship. I get people calling me at work making insulting comments. In short, I am more worried about death threats and character assassination than somebody like Alex Jones removing a sentence or two from an article. You guys should do a show about people in the truth movement (or whatever you want to call it) receiving death threats and other degrading attacks from neocons and mental patients with Second Amendment rights. I believe this is more serious than censorship. I'm not worried about an excised sentence shoving a gun in my face. Just my two cents.

Regarding censorship: I think all of us who transmit information do it, unwittingly or not.
The mainstream press, I was taught in journalism school, has a nice word for it: gatekeeping.
Addressing Jeff Rense and Alex Jones and the wands they wave to disappear opposing views or unpalatable information, here’s my take:
Rense and Jones both have an agenda. Whatever doesn’t serve that agenda gets jettisoned. In that sense, they both are no better than mainstream or the fake real news outlets.
They both want to sell a lot of “stuff” and make a very good living, not a good living, a very good living.
When it comes down to money, you’ll find that freedom of speech and the truth always—not sometimes—always suffer.
And these radio titans have stuck more than one fork in the aforementioned virtues.
After that gas bag of balderdash, Lush Rimbaugh, blathered about having spent time with “his good friend Jeff Rense” during one of Cigar Aficionado’s gala events, I turned off Jeff Rense.
After tiring of Jones’ narcissism, his rudeness toward interviewees, his incessant the-world-will-end-tomorrow pap, I turned him off.
It’s been nearly two years now. And I’m still a healthy Rense- and Jones-free survivor.
Remember, sports fans, the greatest tool in combating the likes of Rense and Jones is to exercise your right to gatekeep, that is, just click that switch and make them go away.

Most civilizations accept the role of enemy combatants as an honest and yes, even honorable function which they respect, despite the fact that they may be enemies. But when it comes to spies, traitors and those engaged in treasonous activity, those are the people that are condemned to the harshest punishment. The reason for this is that their deceitful activities may well result in their 'information' being passed along as the truth, and in the process resulting in death and destruction beyond the enemy's normal ability to inflict.
In short it is because they were in a position of trust, and they betrayed that trust resulting in innocent men and women suffering and perhaps dieing.
It is no different in the patriot, or truth movement, in the alternative media, etc.
Those who wish to bring this country down, who wish to negate the free flow of the truth to the people, know that in order to accomplish this, they must combine their lies and deceit with elements of the truth in order to get it past the 'smell test,' otherwise folks would laugh in their faces.
It is for this reason that the Alex Jonses and Jeff Renses and others (and the list is longer than we have room for here) of this world are deserving of the most severe and blistering criticism for what they do because their lies and deceit are (for the most part) movitated not by their beliefs or principles, but rather by good old fashioned greed for money, lust for power, or position in the media.
Alex, Jeff, and all the rest of you, (and you know who you are!) I want you to know that, as a Christian, I believe the Bible's instruction to pray without ceasing and I want youo know that you are in my prayers, as is this President.
May the bunch of you burn in hell for eternity ... that is my prayer for you. You are common crooks, theives, and liars.
Thank God for those in the alternative media like Wing TV, RBN, and others whose motivation is not the almighty dollar, but rather the burning need to expose the truth regardless of the cost, because these are the men and women who are the heroes in this struggle, who are the hope of this country.

Unbelieveable ... actually excising information out of a text that is vital to telling the truth about such an important subject. I mean, I can understand someone wanting to delete a person's name if there were personal issues involved, but deleting information that is vital to slaying this beast? I've always been of the opinion that politicial correctness and censorship have no place in a free society.
"Censorship" can also be considered "Theft by Deception" to change an outcome, or to change an idea. Ask any good communist and they will tell you; "the ends justifies the means."
So ... when a communist censors information, he is engaged in dissembling the will of the people. When a supposed patriot engages in these same tactics, he is not a patriot; he is a deceiver.

Sorry this took so long. Been busy. You don't want to know. I was extremely disappointed about Rense. It almost seems like he contrived to get rid of me. A lot of people, including you, told me about him. That he wasn't to be trusted. That he slanted the news in a particular way. He certainly never had anything good to say about you. A lot of this radio infighting I simply ascribed to the genre. Fintan Dunne did the same thing to me. Later, Daryl Bradford Smith, and his objection was about Rense and the UFOs. Then Rense did it. At the same time, many websites stopped running my stuff when I turned up the volume about Jewish influence. The quote that throws people over the edge is this one: "Everything Zionists do is justified by the Talmud." No wiggle room there. No chance to use the deceptive terms "New World Order" or "Illuminati" or "Frankists." These are strategems used by Henry Makow and his ilk of supposedly objective critics of social issues that obscure the actual root of most of these problems, which can almost always be traced to some person or group which is undeniably Jewish.
What do "New World Order," "Illuminati" and "Frankists" (and "communists" and "neocons") all have in common? These are all essentially Jewish creations, maybe sects or variations of the original creed, but nonetheless their common denominator is their Jewishness. Rense poses as someone who fights the Zionist menace. But over time I've discovered something about Jewish commentators writing about the subject of Jews, Zionists, Israeli and Jewish influence, which permeates virtually all levels of discourse and activity throughout the world. With Jewish writers, without exception, their first priority is to defend Jews. Doesn't matter what the issue is, the first response of a Jewish writer is to defend Jews. This automatically prevents them from dealing with any problem objectively, or dispassionately. And it guarantees any forum in which Jews participate will never get any objective data about Jews agreed to by consensus.
Notice the increasing number of Jewish writers on Rense. And the number of times Rense and his cohorts on the Genesis radio network go out of their way to either conceal or soft-pedal the impact of Jews on the world. Sure, Rense publishes all these polemics against Zionists. But Zionist is a confusing term, since so many so-called Christian dupes label themselves Zionists. My definition of Zionist is anyone who supports all these Jewish crimes in Israel and around the world. Rense pretends to be fighting this menace. Yet only so far. Hiding behind the disingenuous prattle of those who attempt to deflect and disinform those who might learn about how Jewish influence is a form of social parasitism that destabilizes and destroys any society it takes hold in — because that is its objective.
Rense's mission seems to be to appear as a critic of Israel, Zionists and Jews, but really not to ever get to the root of the problem, which is undue and irresponsible Jewish influence destroying the very fabric of every society it takes control of. That's what we're facing, and for every story Rense runs on the subject, by Makow or whomever else, we are that much further from being able to discern the root problem, because Rense's distractors come up with so many clever diversions that very few people actually understand the ruse.

A few weeks ago when I saw your "turn the other cheek" show, I wanted
to puke, quite honestly. I haven't really listened to you guys since.
But today, I happened by your site and was pleased at what I read. I
too wrote a piece about Thompson's attack on the 9/11 movement a few
weeks back.
You two have done a bang up job exposing the bullshit that is the
alternative media and the 9/11 movement in the past, but when I heard
your solution was to "kiss and make up", I thought, "that's fucking
crazy!" These pricks have lied and censored and bullied enough people
and you want to put that aside and "move on"? How can you make amends
with scumbags?
You guys are adults ... you should know by now that leopards don't change
their spots ... a cheater will cheat again ... liars will still lie, people
who dissed you will diss you again and bullshit-filled, ego-maniacs
like Alex Jones will continue to live for the attention they get from
being the loudest asshole in the room. These idiots operate with a
third grader mentality and you should have learned to stay away from
people like this in third grade. AND you should also know that you are

If you want to rise to the top, above Alex Jones and the others, you
must thoroughly investigate and expose these people for everyone to
see. But also let people know who out there can be trusted as well as
explaining why these liars and censors are in place in the first

Everything that Alex Jones warns his listeners about applies to him.
Case in point: Alex Jones warns his listeners that shows like Air
America are in place as a "steam valve" to release the pressure that
the current administration of evil is generating. In other words, shows
like Air America give people a place to defer their energy instead of
doing something that will actually create real change. Like picking up
the phone to call your ex-girlfriend, but you end up calling your best
friend on the phone instead because it's easier than having the courage
to call your ex. Calling Alex Jones' show or buying Alex Jones' videos
does NOTHING except make Alex Jones (someone who is so insecure with
himself and immature that he can't even be polite enough to not talk
over other people when they are talking or answer any question posed to
him without rambling on like he's bi-polar or a coke-head), more famous
than he deserves to be and wealthier than any nut job peddling fear
should be. As I said, whatever Alex Jones warns about the other guys,
the same thing applies to Alex Jones, Jeff Rense and the like ... they
are in place to be the steam valve in case people no longer buy into or
will go to the mainstream valve.
I was bent on making sure Alex Jones doesn't become the next Rush
Limbaugh ... but, you know what, I don't think I have to worry about
that ... Alex will never be mainstream. He's to spastic and immature to
ever make it that far or ever be taken seriously by average people.
Just watch him on CNN. Can't he see how annoying he acts and what that
does to the message he represents? I think he does, and he does it on
purpose; or his immaturity is being used to turn average people off.
His audience consists of Bible scripture reading, apocalypse-loving,
rapture-happy, David Koresh's in the making ... he even rebuilt the
church for the Wackos in Waco! He doesn't represent me or anyone I know
and I'm the only person I know that listens to him ... and only
sporadically at that, because he just rubs on people's nerves.
Alex has gotten this big because he's got a smarmy business partner
behind him to flip the bill...and he only flips the bill because he
sees the dollars rolling in from these end-times, fear-loving,
jesus-freaks. It feeds itself, and Jones is just a capitalist, playing
that he really cares what happens to this country, the way Oral Roberts
or Pat Robertson care. It's too bad that there aren't more millionaires
out there waiting to flip the bill for someone like me or you guys to
get as much face time in front of people as Jones ... maybe there are a
lot more people in Hollywood that would come on a show and spill their
guts if I or someone else were the host instead of spastic, immature,
end-times, cult-leader, Jarhead Jones.
So, I'm not sure what you thought you would accomplish by 'kissing and
making up'...it was a REALLY stupid idea and I'm glad that you've
decided to return to your senses and to your post as the police of
these lying sacks of shit, ego-monster, false patriots and radio
personalities. Someone needs to do what you are doing. There's a comic
book called The Watchmen; get it and read it if you liked V ... The tag
line is, "Who Watches the Watchmen"? You do ... better and better all the
time. Don't stop. Get DIRTY! Re-post your articles that expose these
scum before more people are deceived by them and Jones gets any bigger.
Honestly, I'd say, you'll never get another chance to turn tail and run
again and still retain your audience. If it's important to you, then
keep going. If not, there's still time to enjoy life doing something
else before the one-way bus rides to camp torture begin here.

I'm a subscriber to rense.com and have been for like 18 months.
I'd like to tell you that I emailed Rense that I disapprove of the censorship
shit he has commited, and that I will cancel the membership in case he
doesn't make the incident a topic on his show or website. I don't expect him
to apologize, but if he decides to stay silent and tries to "sit it out" (German
idiom for waiting for the storm to blow over), I will cease my membership
next month.

i read your articles about rense and jones' censorship. what you write is pretty damning. i think there are two possibilities: either they are knowingly or unknowingly collaborating with the NWO, or they are paranoid. it seems to me that all people in this research are paranoid. certainly eric huffshmid is. however his work also is credible. i would suggest that since you and lisa are a partnership, somehow you are shielded from the worst forms of paranoia that others fall into.

POSTSCRIPT
What follows are three interesting stories that must be included as an addendum to make this article complete.
One: We received a few paragraphs of commentary by a very prominent member of the patriot community that had us howling with laughter. But since this message was sent “off the record,” we are only going to reproduce a single passage (anonymously) which we feel is classic:
“Alex Jones is a garbage man. No question about it.”
Not only does this observation reflect a fantastic sense of humor, but the visual is unforgettable! Well done.
Two: One member of the alternative media who was reluctant to weigh-in on this subject was Mike Rivero of What Really Happened. After sending him the same e-mail which was transmitted to other members of the alternative media, this was the most he could muster in response:
“Okay, I read through the article and got that for some reason Rense and Jones deleted comments from a specific writer, but I don’t get the WHY of what happened. Do we know why they did it?”
After exchanging a few more e-mails, Lisa Guliani finally asked, “Mike, do you want to comment or not?”
Sadly, we haven’t heard another word from him. What makes this situation even stranger is that Mike Rivero – more than any other member of the 9-11 “truth movement” – pushes the government angle that Flight 77 struck the Pentagon. In fact, when interviewed on WING TV (February 13, 2005), we asked Rivero point-blank:
“Do you think Flight 77 hit the Pentagon?”
His response: “Yes.”
To make matters worse, Rivero promotes this disinformation very ardently on his website, thus trying to push people further away from the truth (rather than closer to it).
Could this counter-productive stance be indicative of why he refused to speak-out against Rense and Jones’ censorship practices, or is it something more?
Three: Finally, without a doubt the most bizarre feedback we received on this topic came from an individual who said that since we exposed Rense and Jones’ censorship for everyone to see, they were now the “victims.” Yes, you read that correctly – he referred to them as VICTIMS!
Here is how they worded it (verbatim):
“I hope that you have tried to solicit a response from your victims.”
Our response was as follows:
“You’re calling the people who censored this article – Rense and Jones – VICTIMS? Does that mean Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer were victims too? Hell, if wrongdoers are now victims, maybe Dick Cheney should be a victim too? What kind of backward logic is that?”
This New World Order-inspired Orwellian doublespeak (that is deliberately spewed forth to confuse people) is precisely what each and every one of us should avoid like the plague. It amazes us that such confounded reasoning exists, especially from a so-called member of the “truth movement.” Rather than drawing a line in the sand and clearly differentiating between right and wrong, what these individuals do is create Clintonesque “gray areas” that let the guilty parties off the hook. But instead of protecting the censors and others of their ilk (just like the mainstream media does), shouldn’t we be shining a light on them and trying to set the bar higher for ourselves? These ENABLERS are akin to malignant cancers, and we unequivocally don’t want anything to do with them.
One other point must be addressed: as was pointed-out in our introduction to this article, we did try to “solicit a response” from Jeff Rense and Alex Jones, but they refuse to answer for their actions. So, not only do they mirror Big Brother via their blatant censorship, but then they use the federal government’s tactics by REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. What does that tell you?
Thankfully, a number of courageous authors, radio show hosts, columnists, and website owners have now stood up and spoken out on this issue. These individuals, we are proud to say, are the true leaders and future of our alternative media and patriot movement – and they’re the ones we should be supporting – not overt, unapologetic censors like Alex Jones and Jeff Rense.
