Connecting the Dots

An Urgent Warning to American Free Press

To: Willis Carto, Christopher Petherick, Michael Collins Piper, Jim Tucker, Vince Ryan, John Tiffany, Ann Cronin, and all others at AFP.

As many people know, there has been a great deal of controversy, as well as bad press, swirling around the AFP of late. In our opinion, there are negative forces at work which are intent on not only discrediting AFP, but also potentially dragging it toward demise.

Namely, we are referring to Eric Hufschmid [pictured], Daryl Bradford Smith, and their destructive relationship with AFP correspondent Christopher Bollyn. As we will show, Eric Hufschmid – who serves as webmaster, secretary, girl-Friday, and ghostwriter for Daryl Bradford Smith – is laying an enormous amount of detrimental baggage on AFP’s doorstep in an attempt to make them look foolish.

This process began with the Sam Danner debacle, a hoax of such ridiculous proportions that it brought Christopher Bollyn quite a bit of shame. But instead of printing a retraction (admitting that he got burned by Sam Danner’s lies), Bollyn attacked those such as Russell Pickering who exposed the fraud.

Worse, Eric Hufschmid – the rat who foisted this bogus story on Bollyn – refuses to let the matter die. Instead, he keeps ratcheting-up the innuendo, false allegations, and irresponsible reporting in his articles.

On top of that, Hufschmid recently claimed in an August 20 article that, “The American Free Press is under Zionist control.”

Why did Hufschmid make such a deceitful, injurious statement? Because, according to this yellow-journalist, the AFP “censored” four articles written by Christopher Bollyn. Hufschmid then went on to say, “I think those four articles were censored because the American Free Press has been infiltrated, blackmailed, bribed, or threatened by Zionists. Can you think of any other explanation?”

As a matter of fact, yes, I can think of numerous other explanations, namely that the editor of any newspaper makes decisions based on what best fits their publication. Specifically, in two of the articles Bollyn uses Hufschmid and Daryl Bradford Smith as source material; an obvious red-flag for rejection. Plus, in another story, Bollyn speculates that 9-11 hero William Rodriguez was given promises of financial stability and possible political office if he kept his mouth shut about Israeli involvement in 9-11 and hearing multiple explosions, with possible ties to the Clinton family. Lastly, Bollyn wrote about the moon hoax, which is one of Eric Hufschmid’s favorite subjects (which he made a complete fool of himself while appearing on George Noory’s Coast to Coast AM radio show last year). In all honesty, we feel Petherick made the proper decision in not running these articles, for we wouldn't have published them either.

But such reasoning doesn’t suit Hufschmid, for he next aims his poison pen at Christopher Petherick: “Petherick is the editor of the American Free Press, so he is one of the people responsible for the censoring of Bollyn’s articles. Petherick should be forced to explain why those articles were censored. It will not be easy for him. But so what. As I said, no pain, no gain. Lots of pain, lots of gain. So let’s make it hurt, real bad.”

As a side-note, is anyone noticing the sadistic viciousness of these very harsh, misdirected words? We certainly are.

Next, in a passage that drips with insincerity, Hufschmid scrawls, “Let’s go to the rescue of the American Free Press! Let’s try to find out who is controlling the newspaper, and then help them get rid of those Zionists!”

Hufschmid’s insinuations are so unfounded, demented, and downright wrong that it should be filling everyone with alarm at the AFP.

The big question at this point is: how does Hufschmid even know about the inner workings at AFP, and which articles are published or not published? The answer is obvious: Christopher Bollyn is informing his sidekick of these decisions (obviously in a negative light, i.e. “censorship”) by feeding him the rejected articles. But it must be asked: how did any of what happened inside the AFP offices become Eric Hufschmid’s business, especially when he makes accusations that are so off the mark?

Furthermore, Eric Hufschmid has recently altered AFP photos and headlines from their front page, yet Christopher Bollyn hasn’t uttered one word of protest against Hufschmid for escalating the Sam Danner hoax, bashing the AFP, or manipulating their photos. Why?

Well, it seems the link between these three is very well established, for Bollyn not only corresponds with them, but he’s also stayed at Eric Hufschmid’s house on numerous occasions, and visited Daryl Bradford Smith in France (so it goes beyond the superficial). It seems, at least from our perspective, that he’s playing both sides against the middle, and standing idly by while Hufschmid decries the AFP as being censors and under the control of Zionists.

But it doesn’t stop there. The AFP was also criticized a few months ago about a variety of unsubstantiated allegations regarding Loose Change creator Dylan Avery. Yet again the source for this material was none other than Eric Hufschmid and Daryl Bradford Smith.

In addition, both Hufschmid and Smith have claimed that John Stadtmiller is a member of the so-called “criminal network” that they speak about ad nauseum, while Smith purports (again, without proof) that Stadtmiller has been involved in some shady business dealings with American Capitol Insurance. Stadtmiller was so upset with Hufschmid a few weeks ago when interviewing him that he nearly blew a gasket, yet Christopher Bollyn stands by and doesn’t object in the least. John Stadtmiller, it should be noted, runs RBN, which hosts radio shows by both Michael Collins Piper and Christopher Bollyn. He has also done quite a bit to help spread the word about AFP, and for that he should be commended.

Even Michael Collins Piper isn’t immune from their allegations, for after a recent appearance on his show by Michael Korn, Daryl Bradford Smith began circulating rumors (via “ex”-IDF Army Captain Reuven Schossen) that Korn was a Mossad agent. So now Piper and Mark Glenn are taking heat and being asked questions as to why they’re associating with a supposed Israeli spook (yet Daryl Bradford Smith offers no evidence to back-up these attacks).

Finally, in regard to the upcoming AFP/Barnes Review seminar in Washington, DC, Hufschmid is reinforcing the mainstream media-ADL stereotype that “anybody who speaks at this upcoming conference better be willing to carry those labels of anti-Semite and Holocaust denier.” Isn’t this type of propaganda precisely what the Abe Foxman crowd wants people to think, and yet Hufschmid is pushing and promoting it!

Hufschmid then goes on to criticize the AFP on another matter: “The lack of dates is another issue that the editors of this newspaper need to address. Some of the employees of the American Free Press explain this as incompetence, but why are they so incompetent?”

Again, pure allegation with no names to reinforce his claims. He concludes, “Certainly the American Free Press can find people who can do a better job than this. We should wonder if the incompetence is due to deliberate sabotage to hurt the newspaper.”

We’re telling you, Hufschmid is a cancer, and he’s deliberately spreading this nonsense to discredit and create suspicion in the minds of people about the AFP.

But there’s more. Hufschmid next questions some of the speakers at the upcoming AFP/BR conference such as Dave von Kleist, Barry Chamish, and even Christopher Petherick by labeling them crypto-Jews and useful idiots (his standard ad nauseum mantra). Then, to create even more discord via his obvious divide-and-conquer techniques, Hufschmid opines, “My suggestion is for people to complain to the American Free Press to identify and remove as many of the Zionist infiltrators as possible.”

What an insidious little worm.

In conclusion, we’d like to clarify one thing: the only reason we contacted Lieutenant Richard Russo of the Hoffman Estates Police Department in regard to the recent Chicago brouhaha is because we no longer trust Christopher Bollyn due to his close association with malignant tumors like Eric Hufschmid and Daryl Bradford Smith. The Sam Danner story – fed and promoted by Eric Hufschmid – was an embarrassment, as well as Bollyn’s false report that Danner got run-off the road by federal agents. Yet Hufschmid keeps fueling the fires by spreading his lies, insinuation, and irresponsible muckraking.

As of now, we have two suggestions for the American Free Press:

ONE: The AFP should demand that Christopher Bollyn immediately disassociate himself from Eric Hufschmid and Daryl Bradford Smith before they inflict any more damage to their newspaper.

TWO: Set the record straight with your readers and radio listeners in a very clear way about what has been taking place with Hufschmid and Smith, for if this situation is not resolved, their treachery will most certainly continue.

Last but not least, nobody has championed the AFP like we have at WING TV over the past 3-4 years; and in our opinion, some very deliberate tactics are being used to not only undermine your publication, but to also drive a wedge between your most ardent supporters. Please don’t let Hufschmid & Smith (or others) bring you down, for that is their intent.
