Connecting the Dots

Middle East March Madness (part two)
by Victor Thorn

March 6, 2006: The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), which is a nuclear watchdog for the United Nations, will convene to discuss whether, “Iran is accelerating a nuclear fuel-enrichment drive in defiance of world pressure” (Code name: Project 111). In other words, will this organization be able to trump-up charges against Iran just like they did with Iraq?

As it stands now, 27 of the 35 board members backed this convergence, and if their resolutions are passed, it will green-light a potential invasion of Iran. The only countries voting against the preliminary resolutions were Cuba, Syria, and Venezuela; while China and Russia wanted it to be made certain that there wouldn’t be any immediate sanctions against Iran (due, of course, to their many business contacts).

Preliminary reports have vice president Dick Cheney stating that there will be “meaningful consequences” if international demands aren’t met by Iran, while undersecretary of state Nicholas Burns wants a coalition of countries to impose financial and travel sanctions.

March 7, 2006: Iran will begin hosting a Holocaust investigation conference in Tehran. Entitled The Holocaust: Myth or Reality, this investigation is set-up to determine whether the official Holocaust story can be relied upon 100%, or if there are massive fabrications revolving around it. Interestingly, the following news item ran around the world on March 6, 2006:

Former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl reportedly told Iranian businessmen in Germany                that he agreed with statements by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that the                Holocaust was a “myth”, the semi-official Jomhouri Islami reported on Monday.

The government-owned daily wrote that at a dinner gala with Iranian hoteliers and                entrepreneurs, Kohl said that he “heartily agreed” with Ahmadinejad’s remarks about the                Holocaust.

“What Ahmadinejad said about the Holocaust was in our bosoms”, the former German                chancellor was quoted as saying. “For years we wanted to say this, but we did not have                the courage to speak out”.

Without a doubt, Zionists are quaking in their boots, for this is one can of worms they certainly don’t want opened.

March 20, 2006: The introduction of Iran’s oil bourse. Without a doubt this variable is the wild card upon which all else will be determined. For a complete examination, read my eleven-part series entitled War With Iran: the Iranian Oil Bourse

March 22, 2006: Al-Jazeerah speculates that a fantastic terrorist attack will be directed at either Chicago’s Sears Tower, or on the Petronas Towers in Malaysia. I’m not saying that WING TV is putting any credence in this report, but if we use history as a gauge, look at how other similar events have affected military operations:

Sinking of the Lusitania – WW I
               Pearl Harbor – WW II
               Gulf of Tonkin – Vietnam
               9-11 – Afghanistan and Iraq

This list, or course, could be expanded, but the point is: false flag operations almost invariably lay the groundwork for either the introduction of a military presence at some point in the world, the expansion of a military presence, or legislation which restricts a country’s freedoms during the time of war.

So, even if Al-Jazeerah is incorrect about the specifics of this ‘terrorist event,’ we should be very vigilant in our observations of such an attack, especially when the U.S. corporate media is once again flooding the airwaves with new fear-based propaganda concerning al-Qaeda and Ayman al-Zawahri.

March 28, 2006: Israeli elections will be held for the 17th Knesset (parliament) which will have a huge impact on the direction this nation takes in the near future. Three parties vying for power are:

               A) The Likud Party, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, whose aims are primarily those of                the hard-line, warring, neo-con Zionists.

               B) The Labor Party, led by Amir Pertez, this faction is akin to America’s Democratic                Party in that their focus is on social and ‘economic’ issues.

               C) Kadima, formed by Ariel Sharon before his massive stroke, they are currently seen as                the front-runner. There has been criticism, though, that the Sharon-Olmert connection isn’t                as gung-ho for increased war as are their more bloodthirsty Likud counterparts. They are                also being scrutinized for not promoting a “Greater Israel” philosophy, and are instead                returning to their 1967 borders.

As you can see, there are (at least perceptually) marked differences in each party’s stance, and the best indicator as to Israel’s future direction will be determined from the winners in these elections.

As it stands now, Hamas – who emerged victorious in the January Palestinian elections – has vowed to bring about Israel’s destruction. In response, tax and monetary payments have been cut-off by Israel and the U.S. To counter this move, Iran – whose President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also called for Israel to be wiped off the map – has offered to fund the Palestinian Authority. Lastly, Israel's Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, has unequivocally stated that the incoming Palestinian prime minster could be targeted for assassination, once again brandishing Israel as a global leader of state-sponsered terrorism.

Wild Card Armageddon: Is this nothing more than a Zionist hoax; or the long-awaited Apocalypse referred to by end-timers? In a column entitled The ‘Anti-Christ’ Who Starts World War Three, it is asked if Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is actually “Mabus” predicted centuries ago by Nostradamus. Decide for yourself.

Whatever the case, the Middle East and Israel haven’t seen a barn-burner like this since the Six-Day War in 1967. Strap your seat-belts on and stay tuned!
