Connecting the Dots

Kudos to Frank Whalen & Michael Collins Piper

Ever since its inception on February 1, 2006, Michael Collins Piper’s The Piper Report has quickly become not only one of the most popular radio shows in the patriot movement, but also one where open discussion and debate have become the premium. And this fact alone – that people can actually confront and hash-out their differences – is a definite step in the right direction. Likewise, Frank Whalen [pictured] has been at the forefront in allowing voices to be heard that many others want to silence, and for this he can’t be commended highly enough.

Too often, it seems, people in the alternative media want to either: (a) hide behind their microphones, (b) not show their faces at all, or (c) blatantly avoid certain “taboo” subjects. Obviously, such stances are disappointing, for how can we ever get to the bottom of any issue if the parties involved aren’t willing to lay everything on the table? Whether it’s direct censorship, Israeli involvement in terrorist activities (like 9-11), betrayal, or laying false flags; we need the ability to discuss these subjects rather than simply avoiding or sweeping them under the rug. Or, worse, certain parties in question simply revert to ad hominem attacks by slandering the truth-tellers. On top of that, they absolutely refuse to debate the issues at hand; which makes them eerily similar to their mainstream media counterparts.

Anyway, we applaud Michael Collins Piper, for he has provided a forum where many different sides of every issue can be presented and discussed before the public. Not only has Piper debated Jon Eric Phelps, but the Sam Danner case was dissected and analyzed until the truth was finally revealed. Now, with the recent arrest of Christopher Bollyn – as well as a plethora of lies being spread by Eric Hufschmid and Daryl Bradford Smith – another open debate has arisen. And even though nobody (Piper and us included) agrees with everything spoken by every guest and/or caller, isn’t this the precise definition of what open debate should be? Do we really want to walk in lockstep with everyone else (just the way Big Brother intended)? No, and that’s why Michael Collins Piper is serving such a useful function: he’s laying all sides of each story on the table and letting the chips fall where they may.

As for Frank Whalen, we would like to say in the loudest voice possible that here is a man who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, who has a voice that cuts through all the group think/mind hives created for us, and won’t back-down from differentiating between what is right and wrong. He is a man of exceptional courage, and an innovative voice that all of us should appreciate every day that he’s on the air.
