“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, and I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
Corinthians 13:11
Once and for all, if we ever want to expose the truth about what happened on September 11, 2001 to a significant portion of the population, then it’s time to put away “childish things” and denounce the junk science that has infected this field. Namely, those behind the “pod” theory and the hologram distractions should publicly declare to the 9-11 truth community that these areas of investigation have been nothing more than a huge embarrassment which has diverted attention away from the central 9-11 crux issue: the World Trade Center controlled demolitions. The 9-11 Pods
This point becomes especially poignant with the release of BYU physics professor Steven E. Jones 30-page report examining the hypothesis that “pre-planted explosives” caused the decimation of WTC 1, 2, and 7. Jones writes:
“The video In Plane Site promotes the theory that a “pod” holds a missile under the wing of the 757 which hit WTC 2. Careful inspection of the undercarriage of a standard 757 leads to the explanation that the so-called “pod” was merely a reflection from the bulged undercarriage. I find that the “pod theory” is very weak and distracts from central issues.”
Professor Jones further explains how these misguided notions “ridicule the whole 9-11 truth movement” and that “those espousing weak and un-testable claims should realize that they may be damaging the effort to achieve a rational debate of important issues by poisoning the process with ‘junk science’.”
These words are very powerful, they originate from a university physics professor (as opposed to those who promote blurry photographs), and in all honesty, I couldn’t agree more with these sentiments. Try to imagine how much time and energy has been wasted on the pods and the ludicrous hologram theories. What if all our efforts had instead (as we’ve advocated here at WING TV for years now) been focused on the controlled demolitions? Furthermore, every time we do make advances and more credible sources step forward (Morgan Reynolds, Steven E. Jones, Kevin Ryan, David Ray Griffin, etc), all the mainstream media has to do is pull these ludicrous theories out of left field and say, “Look at what those silly conspiracy theorists believe in! It proves they’re nothing but crackpots.” After that, they all laugh and dismiss us once again. If you don’t believe me, hearken back to what happened with the Popular Mechanics smear job --- they honed-in on the weakest links in the chain – pods and holograms – to discredit the entire movement. Laughing-stock of the Year. As expected, though, Popular Mechanics never responded to our 9-11 on Trial challenge, because our book relies on the scientific method and uses legitimate, testable science, mathematics, and physics. Does anyone wonder why they steered-away from our information? It's because they couldn't make a mockery of it like they could with the other more questionable material.
Thus, for the good of the entire 9-11 research/activist community (and the world at large), we are calling upon Dave Von Kleist, Phil “Commander Pod” Jayhan, and the “whatzit” lunatic fringe to stand-up and denounce their “pod” theory-hologram nonsense once-and-for-all, and then urge their followers to divert their energies toward that aspect of 9-11 which gives us the most potential to convict the bloodthirsty monsters who were ultimately behind the WTC controlled demolitions. Like a child who finally discovers that Santa Claus isn’t real, it’s time to put away childish things.
End-note: To their credit, some originators of the above-mentioned theories have backed away from their initial positions, but apparently word of these revelations has yet to trickle down the pipeline. So, there are a smattering of pod-people and hologram-huggers who are still pushing this junk; but hopefully they will embrace reality in the near future, lose their illusions, and drop their weak, implausible theories once-and-for-all.
