John Lehman became an integral part of the neo-con community in the early 1970s when he joined a little-known organization called the Committee on the Present Danger. According to the Interhemispheric Resource Center:

         “The original Committee on the Present Danger (CPD) was formed in 1950 by top          eastern establishment luminaries. It was designed as a “citizens lobby” to alert the nation          to the Soviet ‘present danger,’ and the resultant need to adopt the NSC-68 agenda in          order to survive. NSC-68 was a top secret National Security Council document written by          Paul Nitze promoting a huge military build-up for the purpose of rolling back communist          influence and attaining and maintaining U.S. military supremacy in the world.” (Note:          NSC-68 was essentially a blueprint for the US/USSR Cold War, while Paul Nitze was          prominent in forming America’s hawkish foreign policy toward the Soviet Union for over          four decades.)

The IRC continued: “Revitalization of the CPD grew out of an independent group called Team B [which was] authorized in 1976 by President Gerald Ford and organized by then-CIA chief, George Bush.” One of the original members of Team B was none other than neo-con/Iraqi war architect Paul Wolfowitz.

In fact, the entire framework for what would later become known as the neo-cons was formed by Team B, as can be seen from this passage by Zeynep Toufe (Ronald Reagan, Neo-Cons, and the “Intelligence Failure” of the Cold War: Déjà Vu All Over Again – June 10, 2004): “One can trace the first policy victory of the neo-conservatives to the creation of the infamous “Team B” in the seventies where a panel was authorized by then-CIA chief George Herbert Walker Bush, and whose members included Daniel Pipes and Paul Wolfowitz, whose architect was Richard Perle, and whose backers included Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.” [For a more complete picture of Team B and the neo-cons, read Michael Collins Piper’s The High Priests of War.)

The above-mentioned men are those who John Lehman associated with and help a common philosophy with; yet inexplicably he was selected as a member of the “independent” panel that investigated them in relation to the 9-11 terror attacks. They should have just said they were allowing the fox to guard their henhouse, because this is a miscarriage of justice to the highest degree.

But Lehman’s affiliation with these men does not end there. In the early 1990s Lehman joined the Committee on U.S. Interests in the Middle East. And what was this organization’s purpose? Answer: to lobby U.S. tax dollars for the nation of Israel. And who were its organizers? Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, and Elliott Abrams.

But wait; there’s more. Lehman was also Deputy Director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, where he was closely associated with Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle (isn’t it funny how the same names keep popping up). He was also a member of the PNAC (Project for a New American Century), which has been described as the most influential war-mongering group since … welluh … the Committee on the Present Danger (another Lehman group).

The PNAC, of course, achieved infamy for two letters which it produced: one was sent to President Bill Clinton, while the other went to President George W. Bush (eleven days after the 9-11 terror attacks). In each of these letters, the signatories (including Dick Cheney, Lewis Libby, Elliott Abrams, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz) urged the then-presidents to engage in one specific act --- an acceleration of the United State’s plans to invade Iraq. And as we all know by now, the Bush/neo-con administration immediately began planning to do just that only hours after the 9-11 attacks.

I could continue in this same vein for page after page, mentioning how John Lehman and his family have been in the investment banking field for decades, and how they’ve specialized in two distinct areas ---- the defense and aerospace industry --- but at this point I think you get the picture. Worse, this same type of expose could be written about each and every member of the 9-11 Whitewash Committee. So, not only did a bloodthirsty cabal of psychopaths inside and outside our government mastermind 9-11, they also created the fall-guy (Osama bin Laden), and covered-up their tracks via a cowardly corporate mainstream media and the 9-11 Investigative Committee. Let’s face it, folks; we got duped yet again, and John Lehman was one of the primary bamboozlers.
