On the evening of November 15, 2005, BYU physics professor Steven E. Jones cancelled his interview with WING TV which was scheduled for the next day. He wrote: "I regret that I will be unable to fulfill this engagement, or to speak on your program. And please, I can't explain why at this time."

After asking why he had such a sudden turnabout, Professor Jones followed-up: "I have firmly decided to focus my effort on using peer-reviewed academic venues to communicate my ideas. Again, my apologies."

Without further speculation at this point, I sent the following e-mail to Professor Jones:

Professor,

Thank you for responding. We're very disappointed because your report is so excellent and substantiates what we and other 9-11 researchers have been saying for a long time now. However, let me reiterate once more that we remain very grateful that you did your research into this matter and made it public. People have a right to know that they have been lied to by both the government and the mainstream media. From where I sit, you have a better shot at an honest interview with independent media like us as opposed to our mainstream counterparts. Independent media will give you a fair shake and not marginalize or slant your research or your ideas and opinions. Mainstream media has devolved into nothing more than a bunch of government lapdogs. There is no law that compels them to tell the truth. We can tell the truth because we're not corporate-controlled and do not have a symbiotic relationship with the government. We also have a conscience and are not lukewarm when it comes to principles.

We wish you the best of luck in getting the controlled demolition information into the public arena, and are at your disposal if you ever change your mind. Sir, we do not honor the dead by keeping silent. We honor the dead by speaking out and seeking justice in their names. In so doing, we honor not only the dead, but also our country and ourselves.

Professor, I lost many friends on 9-11. It is a moral imperative that I continue speaking out about the government lie, which is the original conspiracy theory. I hope with all my heart that you continue to do the same. People MUST know the truth because truth is the supreme reality. We must not allow 9-11 to go down in history as a lie under any circumstances. Future lives may be lost if the public does not come to see what happened on 9-11 for what it was: New World Order state-sponsored terrorism.

And let me say this to you: The truth matters and everything we do counts. I believe this.
