As we rolled out of Washington, D.C. following the June 23rd Truth Convergence Rally in Lafayette Park (directly across from the White House), Lisa Guliani, Michael Langston, and I discussed how the enormity of problems associated with our current “war on terror” can be reduced to a few simple areas of focus. Essentially, the madness we see today in regard to the war in Iraq, subway bombings, patriot act legislation, rampant fear-mongering, and overblown government spending all derive from one crux issue: 9-11. And if we carry this reasoning to its logical conclusion, the central crux issue of 9-11 is the controlled demolition of all three World Trade Center buildings.

It’s that fundamental. If we truly want to get to the root of our modern-day evils, this simple overview is the basis for everything. All else is peripheral. Webster Tarpley, the day’s final speaker, reiterated this sentiment when he declared with fiery brilliance that those who focus solely on George Bush and Dick Cheney aren’t looking deeply enough, for the true perpetrators – those who pull their strings – are lurking behind the scenes, hidden from view. Tarpley also directly addressed the anti-war crowd by pointing out: “If you want to stop this war, then expose the truth about 9-11.”

I couldn’t agree more, for tens of thousands of people are myopically focusing their energy on “peace” (which the global elite couldn’t care less about) when they should be shining a blinding light on the lies behind 9-11. David Ray Griffin spoke along these same lines when he told those in attendance that the American people are amazingly tolerant when confronted with an array of injustices, but if they ever discovered the TRUTH (en masse) about 9-11, it would create such a furor that the entire house of cards would crumbling to the ground. This ugly secret, Dr. Griffin concluded, would ultimately expose the foundation of their global domination project.

These revelations about 9-11 are so horrific that author Jim Marrs described to me his theory where mini-nukes were clandestinely planted in the WTC sub-basements to take out the building’s foundations, while separate charges were set-off throughout the towers to create a no-resistance gravity free-fall. I agreed completely, for what else could explain the molten steel that was found seven stories beneath street-level still bubbling 4-5 weeks after 9-11?

Regrettably, the only time this crucial, crux information was brought to the public’s attention at the DC Truth Convergence was via a 14-foot WING TV banner which declared in huge capital letters: 9-11 WORLD TRADE CENTER CONTROLLED DEMOLITION. From my perspective, this blackout was shameful, because if we truly want to end the global reign of terror being waged against us, we have to summon the courage to go for the throat of those who sit atop the control pyramid. Their Achilles' heel is CONTROLLED DEMOLITION – not peak oil, not the Downing Street Memo, not Karl Rove, not sandal & patchouli peace rallies, and not the Abu Ghraib/Gitmo scandals.

We're talking about cold-blooded murderers, and if we really want to bring these bastards down, the only way is by exposing their direct planning, complicity in, and execution of the WTC controlled demolitions. Best of all, and it’s so easy to prove (see: 9-11 on Trial). What most boggles my mind is: why are so many alternative media commentators, researchers, and activists ignoring this crux issue? Their inaction is inexplicable; and until we decide to go for their jugular vein, these devils are going to remain in power.

I don’t know if you want that, but we sure as hell don’t!

July 23, 2005: I stood with Victor Thorn, Michael Langston, and about 200 other patriots in the heat of a midsummer sun in Lafayette Park, directly across from the White House in Washington, D.C. We were all assembled for the long-awaited 9-11 Truth Convergence, sponsored by various organizations, including 9-11Truth.org.

The speakers included such notables as David Ray Grffin, Morgan Reynolds, Jim Marrs and Webster Tarpley, among others. Griffin was the first to take the stage, and in his customary eloquent style, addressed the issue of 9-11 Truth, along with the many victims of 9-11, which he believes include not only those that were murdered on September 11, 2001 - but also the tens of thousands killed in Afghanistan and Iraq, all the victims of depleted uranium, as well as the uncountable number of victims of DU that have yet to surface in the decades to come. Griffin reminded everyone present that the terrible events of 9-11 served as a pretext for all the dangerous policies and unconstitutional legislation that have since followed in its wake - the Patriot Act, perpetual war, etc... Moreover, Griffin used the word "demonic" in reference to the powers-that-be; "demonic" as in: that which embodies injustice and greed. I think all in attendance were in mutual agreement on this point. He went on to say that, "Americans have been amazingly tolerant and (equally amazing) are not upset about being lied to." He also expressed hope that this rally would be a true convergence of the various organizations present.

Speaker Peter Dale Scott addressed onlookers with remarks about terrorism and seeking justice, connecting related issues of the war on terrorism and telling us that "only through peace will we find truth". Speaker Dorothy Mackey expounded upon issues of rape, torture and sexual abuse that are inherent, and apparently commonplace, within the U.S. military, saying that "Abu Ghraib is not an anomaly, but is standard operating policy for the U.S. military." Paul Thompson, "father of the infamous "9-11 timeline," also spoke to the crowd, and his words had a most familiar ring to them. This was probably because he was parroting back excerpts of David Ray Griffin's recent C-Span speech almost verbatim. A little perplexing, to say the least.

Jenna Orkin was there as well, discussing environmental concerns and the deleterious health effects for those living and working around Ground Zero post 9-11. True to form, Orkin wasted no time spinning peak oil fearmongering falsities in her remaining minutes at the podium, regurgitating standard Mike Ruppert mantras about "peak oil being a matter of life and death," to which I found my head shaking in disgust and my mouth repeating the word "bullshit" over and over before she closed her remarks. Let's just say that I wasn't alone in expressing these sentiments.

Shortly afterward, many of us delighted in seeing Morgan Reynolds, as well as two of my absolute favorites, Jim Marrs and Webster Tarpley, take the stage. It's too bad these three speakers didn't get more time at the podium because they were powerful, hard-hitting, and their messages were right on target. Tarpley was utterly riveting and was greeted with a resounding wave of applause from the crowd when he walked off the stage, grinning and a bit flushed from the heat and adrenaline rush. It was well worth the journey to D.C. just to get some face time with these three powerhouses.

We at WING TV were treated very well by almost everyone present, with the exception of one unfamiliar heavyset man who made some unkind remarks when we first arrived, telling us that "alot of people were very mad at WING TV and didn't want us there." I told him that this didn't bother us in the least. He scowled at us periodically for the remainder of the afternoon, but aside from his initial comments and the rather "pinched" facial expressions of some 9-11 truth.org members like Janice Matthews, Jan Hoyer, and Kyle Hence, everyone else was very friendly and upbeat. We were surrounded by many WING TV listeners who immediately came to talk with us, as well as quite a few folks we've interviewed on our show in the past, including some of the speakers mentioned above. Victor and I also enjoyed seeing veteran 9-11 researchers and activists Nico Haupt, Jim Hoffman, and Michael Woolsey.

The highlight of the day for Thorn and me came when we walked across the street while fellow activist Jim Kujawa snapped a priceless photo of us holding our 14-foot banner directly in front of the White House. There we were surrounded by WING TV listeners like our new friend, D.C.Rasheed, along with Nico Haupt and writer/activist Michael Langston. There is no other photo comparable to this snapshot anywhere in America. It was a very profound - not to mention THRILLING - moment for all of us, with agitated Secret Service agents and Park Police looking on as we sent one very crystal clear message to the rogue Bush administration and its puppetmasters; while the public-at-large - including hundreds of Boy Scouts - looking on. Every Boy Scout in America must have been in Washington, D.C. this past week. We found them everywhere we turned.

Furthermore, I have to say once again that it's an indescribable feeling to speak such important TRUTH to power, and we're looking forward to the upcoming 9-11 Ground Zero protest on September 11th with great enthusiasm and a growing sense of anticipation. It too promises to be a very symbolic, profound, and historic event; and I urge anyone who can make it on that day to certainly do so. We'll be there, that's for sure.

Looking back, I think the 9-11 Truth Convergence was a positive event, and despite its obvious shortcomings and the unfortunate inclusion of spinmeisters like Jenna Orkin, we believe that public forums such as this are necessary and beneficial. I would have liked to seen more of a "rally" and less bogus "peak oil" spin, more time afforded to the crux issue of controlled demolition at the WTC, and way more from the the likes of Tarpley, Griffin, Reynolds, and Marrs.

All in all, at the end of the day we felt pretty damn good as we walked away from the White House and historic Lafayette Park, carrying our huge banner with its explosive message, hugging fellow truthseekers and waving goodbye to friends, both old and new. Many passersby stopped us out of curiosity on the way to our car in order to photograph our great big sign for posterity, and hopefully for future discussion with others. We planted many seeds with this message, as is always the case when truth appears front and center on the street - and that in itself made the whole trip worthwhile. I hope the Secret Service snapped a pic of it so Bush could eyeball it for himself.

Yesterday's event reinforced the importance of what we do every day of our lives here at WING TV, and further strengthened the principles and convictions to which we cling tightly. Thorn and I are setting our sights on the double-edged days ahead; each one a question mark, yet at the same time a new chance to forge ahead and make a difference, expose the lies, shred the illusions, and awaken more and more Americans to what's really happening in our country (and our world). Every time we take truth to the streets, we grow in strength and number, always mindful that 9-11 must never be allowed to go down in history as the official LIE. To that end, Victor and I promise to make the most of each and every one of these rally opportunities, to continue planting seeds of truth along the path and on the streets of America, wherever we go.

On Saturday July 23, I had the pleasure of visiting Washington DC for the very first time and attending the 9-11 Truth Convergence Rally being held there that day. What follows is a brief account of my impressions - both of the rally itself and also of our nation's capitol.

Washington DC is actually a 'tale of two cities.' The first part of it that we entered - where most of its people actually are living - is one of the worst looking places that I've ever seen in this country. I'm sure there are worse places to live in the US than this, and certainly far, far worse areas in other less fortunate regions of our world, but it seems that the richest and most powerful nation on the face of this earth could do much better than this in regard to its capitol, and, more importantly, in regard to its own people.

When we think of our nation's capitol, we shouldn't think only of the majesty and opulence of all the great buildings. We should also think of the reality beneath the surface, beneath the illusion, and remember that our country is not at all what it could and should be.

What exactly has happened to our once-great country? To put it simply, our nation has been hijacked by an organized cabal of elitist criminals who are stealthily transforming it to serve their own selfish interests. America is not being 'defended' by our leaders. On the contrary, it is in the process of being systematically dismantled and sold out by the very same people who are posing as our protectors. This is why it is so vitally important to expose their corrupt war agenda as something that is not in America's best interest - and particularly their unnecessary and illegal war in Iraq.

To do this, it is necessary to expose the root of the deception - to expose the lie that is used to justify this evil. And that lie is that we were attacked on September 11, 2001 by a group of radical Islamic 'terrorists' who pose such a huge threat to our national security that we need to wage a 'War on Terror' simply to catch a mere handful of Arab cave dwellers. According to this outrageous and ludicrous conspiracy theory, we should be willing to give up our rights and our freedoms to protect us from this 'threat' we are facing, and we should place our total trust in government to act as our defender.

We in the 9-11 Truth Movement should do everything in our power to expose this as a lie and not acquiesce to this deception in any way whatsoever. It wasn't Arab cave dwellers who planned and carried out this despicable attack, but rather a sophisticated cabal of elitist criminals within (and closely associated with) our own government. And we now have the proof:

These are the words that we held up on our hand-painted sign at the White House and beside the stage at Saturday's 9-11 rally. These are the words that hardly anyone else was uttering at this rally - certainly very few, if any, of the speakers on the podium. Why, I wonder? For these simple words express what really happened that fateful day on September 11, and, if proclaimed widely and loudly enough, these same simple words - painted as they were on a hand-painted sign - have the capability of not only bringing down the Bush White House, but also bringing an end to the war in Iraq, and restoring our America to what it could and should be.
